Maintenance Coordinator

About This Role

The Maintenance Coordinator will ensure the Bickford Senior Living Branch is impeccably clean and in excellent working order, providing a safe and well-maintained home for residents. This role involves prioritizing tasks, addressing maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflecting quality of resident care
• Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks timely
• Address maintenance issues promptly, escalating as needed
• Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out
• Assist in arranging service contracts and bids
• Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule
• Order supplies/chemicals as assigned
• Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately
• Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely
• Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled
• Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled
• Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule
• Ensure chemicals are securely stored, labeled, used per directions, and appropriate PPE is worn
• Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch
• Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle record check
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
