Certified Caregiver

About This Role

The Certified Caregiver supports resident care at Bickford Senior Living, ensuring daily needs are met with compassion and dignity, allowing residents to live life to the fullest.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change
• Apply knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia

Requirements

• Active CNA License in good standing
• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Willingness to take additional state-specific training or education
