About This Role

Serve as a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) within a physician's or advanced practice provider's office, performing safe clinical skills and supporting patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. This role involves direct patient contact, administrative tasks, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture
• Administer medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
• Relay instructions and information to patients and their families/caregivers
• Send and receive patient medical records
• Facilitate patient referrals
• Prepare forms for patients

Requirements

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
