Physical Therapist

About This Role

Evaluate, plan, and implement medically prescribed treatment programs for patients in an acute care setting to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent disability. This role requires independent operations, applying discretion and good judgment to ensure high-quality therapeutic care.

Responsibilities

• Perform well in stress and emergency situations
• Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations
• Establish a treatment plan and modify it according to patient needs and response to treatment
• Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
• Perform timely and accurate documentation in the medical record
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other health professionals in the coordination of care

Requirements

• Successful completion of state board examination
• Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington

Qualifications

• Entry level

• Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management
