LVN I/II/III-GI

About This Role

Provide nursing care to patients in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Coordinator. This role involves applying clinical nursing knowledge, utilizing demonstrated skills to ensure patient safety and comfort, and identifying priorities to organize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area under supervision
• Apply clinical nursing knowledge and utilize skills for patient safety and comfort
• Identify priorities and make judgments concerning basic needs of multiple patients to organize care

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program
• Current and valid Texas LVN license
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program
• Computer experience
• Proven ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved vocational nursing program
• 6+ months in a clinical area or successful completion of a KSC LVN Residency program required.

Nice to Have

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical area (for LVN II)
• 9+ years of experience in a clinical area (for LVN III)
