Long Term Substitute - Middle School

About This Role

This is a temporary, full-time Long Term Substitute Teacher position for Middle School students at Brighton School, responsible for maintaining continuity of instruction and classroom management from February through April.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular teacher
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment
• Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs
• Provide instructional support across various subjects and grade levels as needed
• Collaborate with other school staff to support student learning and uphold school policies

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments quickly

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred
