This is a temporary, full-time Long Term Substitute Teacher position for Middle School students at Brighton School, responsible for maintaining continuity of instruction and classroom management from February through April.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular teacher
- Maintain classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment
- Adapt to different classroom settings and student needs
- Provide instructional support across various subjects and grade levels as needed
- Collaborate with other school staff to support student learning and uphold school policies
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments quickly
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred
