Local Class A Dry Van Driver

About This Role

Clean Harbors is seeking a Local Class A Dry Van Driver to operate tractor-trailer units for local routes from San Jose, CA to various California locations, ensuring safe and compliant transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste with daily home time.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act in a safe manner at all times
• Operate tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adhere to weights and ensure proper utilization of the units
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste and properly secure loads
• Placard vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT endorsement
• Tanker endorsement
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software

Qualifications

• 12+ months of Class A driving experience
