Perform routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties, ensuring all work meets applicable quality guidelines and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Perform basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures
- Utilize basic instrumentation
- Complete all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion
- Ensure that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines
- Perform cleaning and general housekeeping of work area
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required, BS in Chemistry or related science preferred
- 1+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred
Nice to Have
- BS in Chemistry or related science
- 1+ years of previous lab technician experience
- Experience with utilizing computer software
