Line Cook / Concessions Cook

About This Role

The Line Cook / Concessions Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment at FNB Field. This role ensures high food quality standards, portion control, and proper sanitation to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package food products to order or for warming until sold
• Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
• Maintain quality and production standards for all menu items, ensuring fresh and high-quality food
• Control portion sizes and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand
• Clean, stock, and restock workstations, stands, and displays
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and the floor is swept and mopped at the end of the shift
• Undergo a checkout process with the Floor Supervisor before ending the shift to ensure concession stand cleanliness standards are met
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
• At least 1 year of experience in Food Service
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Food Service.
