Line 5 Lead

About This Role

This individual contributor role performs manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, preparing, and moving raw/cooked materials on a production line. The role ensures product quality, equipment functionality, and adherence to safety and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into equipment and unload work in progress or finished product
• Move materials to and from production equipment
• Identify and reject defective products
• Dip product into sanitizing bath
• Notify lead or supervisory staff of unusual operations
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area
• Comply with organizational policies including safety, GMP, food safety, and employment rules
• Learn and understand personal safety and food safety actions
• Perform pre-operation tasks including machine setup and tear down
• Perform the function to scrap inedible materials
• Inspect product to customer specifications

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Ability to read a scale and document weights
• Ability to input data into ERP system

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience
• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred

Nice to Have

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field
