About This Role

Provide appropriate nursing care as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performing therapeutic procedures and gathering patient data.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Entry-level position. One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
