About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, quality, and cost-effective patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve patient outcomes within an Urgent Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and cost-effective direct care for patients and families within a unit, service, or primary area of practice
• Collaborate with members of the health care team to assist patients in achieving established outcomes of care
• Participate in direct patient care to meet individual and family health goals by obtaining, documenting, and reporting patient data related to the established plan of care
• Perform therapeutic measures, under the direction of an RN or MD, to assist in achieving established patient care outcomes

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Medical/Surgical office experience
