Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

Assess resident needs, develop individualized care plans, administer nursing care in a skilled nursing facility, and supervise nursing assistants to ensure the highest degree of quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident’s needs
• Develop an individualized care plan
• Administer nursing care
• Evaluate nursing care
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care in a SNF setting
• Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the state of work
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
