Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

This role involves assessing residents' needs, developing individualized care plans, administering nursing care, and supervising nursing assistants in a skilled nursing facility. The LPN ensures the highest degree of quality care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer nursing care to residents
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care provided
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in direct care delivery
• Ensure adherence to current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
• Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered LPN license within the state of North Carolina
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various software programs, including electronic health record software
