Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

Provide exceptional nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, assessing needs, developing individualized care plans, administering care, and supervising nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident's needs
• Develop an individualized care plan
• Administer nursing care
• Evaluate nursing care
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in delivery of nursing care
• Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained
• Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within the state in which you work
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
