This role is for an independent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who wants to build their own schedule and take control of their career by working PRN shifts. The LPN will assist RNs and physicians with patient care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment
- Perform patient observation
- Perform specific procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs
- Measure and record patient weight and height
- Run other diagnostic tests
- Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid LPN license in the state of Ohio
