About This Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for residents within the Southmont skilled nursing community. This role provides leadership to CNAs and other caregivers while ensuring quality care according to PA State Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for designated residents
  • Provide leadership and direction to CNAs and other caregivers
  • Deliver and maintain quality care within established policies and procedures
  • Manage overall care of designated residents with RN oversight as needed

Requirements

  • LPN license in good standing (PA State)
  • CPR Certification
  • Ability to work well with people
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and medical records software
  • Desire to contribute to a compassionate, resident-focused culture

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Skilled Nursing
  • Experience in Dementia Care
