Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

About This Role

This role delivers high-quality nursing care to residents by implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and documenting resident conditions. The LPN will work collaboratively as part of a care team within a skilled nursing center.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of nursing to deliver services exceeding company and regulatory standards
• Initiate and lead individualized nursing care plans
• Assess and document residents’ conditions and nursing needs
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders
• Assign nursing care to team members based on resident needs and staff capabilities
• Administer medications
• Start IVs and perform treatments for assigned residents
• Document treatments as required
• Ensure economical utilization of supplies and proper maintenance of equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• Valid LPN license
• Valid CPR certification
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing
• One year of nursing experience is preferred

Nice to Have

• One year of nursing experience
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff
