About This Role

This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position provides compassionate nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting, focusing on medication management and daily living assistance. The role involves overseeing a team of resident assistants and contributing to staff development for a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing Director
• Oversee a team of resident assistants
• Delegate select responsibilities to ensure the highest level of resident care and aide
• Demonstrate SPHP's Standards of Behavior and Core Values

Requirements

• Valid NYS LPN license

Qualifications

• Entry level, 1+ year experience preferred but willing to train

Nice to Have

• 1+ year of experience as a LPN
• 1+ year working in a skilled nursing facility
• Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
• Ability to engage within a team setting
• Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field
