Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

About This Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Adult Foster Care division, you will advocate for, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilled lives in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Function as an advocate, supporter, educator, and caregiver to individuals with disabilities
• Assist individuals develop basic living and social skills to gain optimal independence and integration into the community
• Provide assistance with living skill development
• Provide assistance with health maintenance
• Administer medication
• Provide personal care
• Assist with behavioral development/management
• Work under the RN supervisor and alongside Nursing Assistants

Requirements

• Current LPN License
• Experience with high medical needs and personal cares
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 18 years or older
• Completed HS diploma or GED
• Pass a MN DHS Background Study
• Available to work every other weekend
• Current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean record
