As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Adult Foster Care division, you will advocate for, support, educate, and care for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilled lives in a residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Function as an advocate, supporter, educator, and caregiver to individuals with disabilities
- Assist individuals develop basic living and social skills to gain optimal independence and integration into the community
- Provide assistance with living skill development
- Provide assistance with health maintenance
- Administer medication
- Provide personal care
- Assist with behavioral development/management
- Work under the RN supervisor and alongside Nursing Assistants
Requirements
- Current LPN License
- Experience with high medical needs and personal cares
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 18 years or older
- Completed HS diploma or GED
- Pass a MN DHS Background Study
- Available to work every other weekend
- Current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean record
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
