Licensed Practical Nurse

About This Role

Provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center. Build long-term relationships while using a broad range of nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate outpatient setting
• Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge
• Work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment

Requirements

• Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Entry level, minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

Nice to Have

• BONENT or CHT certification
• Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting
