Lecturer of Political Science

About This Role

This role involves teaching Political Science courses to undergraduate students across multiple campuses as a full-time Lecturer. The successful candidate will focus on American Government and contribute to the growth of the department's degree offerings.

Responsibilities

• Teach 15 hours per semester (5/5) of undergraduate courses
• Teach core classes for the department, including American Government
• Teach other lower division courses and potentially upper division courses based on departmental needs
• Engage in online instruction
• Support and grow the degree offerings of the department

Requirements

• Master's in Political Science or a related field
• Successful teaching background, especially with American Government

Qualifications

• Master's in political science or a related field, Ph.D. preferred

Nice to Have

• Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field
• Strong background in teaching American Government
• Willingness to engage in online instruction
• Commitment to supporting and growing departmental degree offerings
