About This Role

Coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a community to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by engaging with prospective and current residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
• Inspect apartments to ensure move-in ready condition and coordinate with the maintenance team for any outstanding issues.
• Stay informed about market conditions and develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Ensure the community and show units meet quality standards, communicating maintenance needs and merchandising show units.
• Follow-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease decisions.
• Execute lease renewal program activities, preparing renewal letters and meeting with residents.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and courteously, taking action to solve problems or convey requests.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
• Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
