About This Role

This Leasing Consultant role is responsible for converting prospective residents into actual residents and ensuring their satisfaction within a 256-apartment community. The position involves managing property appearance, handling leasing paperwork, and engaging with residents through events and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Take a prospect from traffic to resident
  • Maintain closing ratios
  • Collect rental deposit
  • Process all rental paperwork
  • Ensure the property is kept in excellent condition
  • Help to manage the property’s social media and coordinate resident events
  • Build brand loyalty by ensuring every resident interaction is positive
  • Respond to telephone inquiries
  • Interview prospective residents
  • Conduct site tours

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industries
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with industry software (MRI, YARDI, Nexus preferred)
  • Sales aptitude
  • Sharp and professional appearance
  • Must be able to work weekends

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or retail industries

Nice to Have

  • A college degree
  • Bilingual in Spanish
