Serve as the primary contact for prospective and current residents, providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships within the community. This role involves leasing apartment homes, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring a welcoming representation of the community.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster positive resident relationships
- Lease available apartment homes and support marketing initiatives
- Support resident retention efforts and ensure welcoming community representation
- Support Community Manager in meeting occupancy, rental income, and renewal goals
- Collect and post all revenue promptly (application fees, admin fees, deposits)
- Enforce lease agreements, Fair Housing laws, safety codes, and local ordinances
- Maintain a closing ratio of 25% or higher and 80%+ on employee shopping reports
- Monitor and respond to leads within 24 hours following CRM guidelines
- Show apartments using professional leasing procedures and approved rates
Requirements
- Outgoing, personable, and compassionate
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Skilled in conflict resolution with a calm, direct, and empathetic approach
- Strong relationship-building skills with residents, coworkers, and vendors
Nice to Have
- Property management knowledge
- Experience with RealPage systems (OneSite, AIRM)
