Lead RRT

About This Role

Supervise shift activities and act as the respiratory care expert, providing daily support for staffing, assignments, and patient care workload while serving as a role model for staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the supervision of shift activities
• Act as the expert during assigned shifts
• Provide daily support of staffing and assignments
• Provide resource support for staff
• Support preceptor tasks for new hires
• Fulfill assigned patient care workload
• Serve as a role model for team members
• Advocate for a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment
• Deliver the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Proficient in all patient care settings (adult ICU, NICU)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in Georgia

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
• Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care
