Lead Purchase to Pay

About This Role

This role involves overseeing the execution of Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes by Nike's Managed Service Provider, driving standardization, optimization, and managing key stakeholder engagements. The Lead will ensure optimal service delivery while identifying and managing financial risk and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide Process leadership to Global P2P operations and cross-functional partners, acting as a conduit between P2P, Procurement, Controlling, Treasury, and global/local business units for complex problem-solving.
• Collaborate with the MSP’s Global and Geo Leads on service delivery activities requiring process insight, partnering for effective problem resolution and leveraging analytical insights.
• Provide operational oversight, training, and education to develop MSP team acumen and build towards a global standard P2P support model.
• Partner with P2P Geo Leads to stay updated on changes to standards and regulations within Geographies, providing localization recommendations for P2P.
• Own and drive escalated incidents and issues to resolution, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Evaluate process improvement opportunities and partner with Global Process Owners to build global standards, acting as the process champion for the defined area.
• Help develop and evolve Global P2P Policies and Procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Global/Regional partners and Nike Suppliers.
• Support process control oversight and internal and external audit investigations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
• Experience in P2P process delivery and/or broader operational process management
• Proven cultural acuity and ability to work across large, diverse teams
• Experience with Procurement/Payables processes, operations, and features of software systems like Coupa and SAP
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills to deal effectively with varied internal customers, stakeholders and external suppliers
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in having led and managed cross-functional projects/programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, supply chain or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
