About This Role

This Lead Nuclear Med Tech position performs and supervises daily operations within the modality, providing leadership to the assigned area. It involves significant patient care responsibilities while maintaining accreditation standards and ensuring the efficient operation of nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise modality daily operations
• Provide leadership relative to the assigned area
• Engage in patient care (70% of duties)
• Perform supervisory functions (30% of duties)
• Promote and advocate imaging services by staying updated on technology and equipment changes
• Ensure accreditation standards are maintained
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and other devices as appropriate

Requirements

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB
• 3 years technical experience
• Experience in leadership of personnel
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification
• CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech certification OR NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
• 3+ years technical experience and experience in leadership of personnel
