The LDAR Compliance Technician is responsible for supporting a customer's regulatory inspection processes by leading a team to execute regulatory assessments and audits. This role assists in ensuring site operational continuity and compliance with company policies, while maintaining good customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Assist InSite customer to develop, implement, and manage a compliance audit program.
- Execute internal assessments of compliance specialists to confirm accurate completion of inspection procedures.
- Analyze compliance inspection results to find trends and make recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Interact with clients and regulatory agencies to communicate Clean Harbors InSite Services onsite procedures and provide site knowledge during regulatory audits.
- Prepare and maintain client's compliance documentation for county or state inspections.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Leak Detection and Repair experience
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Windows based applications
- Technical/manufacturing process knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- TWIC
- Confined space entry
- 40 Hour OSHA Training
- Strong mechanical ability
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ Years of Leak Detection and Repair experience
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of RCRA requirements/regulations
