Provide comprehensive administrative and professional support for law enforcement programs, utilizing strong analytical and communication skills to ensure efficient operation and maintain program confidentiality. The role involves data analysis, record maintenance, and technical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential problems and solutions through data analysis, reduction, and entry
- Provide technical and administrative guidance to group supervisors and program managers
- Serve as a technical advisor on complex problems to other staff members
- Receive and direct visitors and clients, answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system; scan documents into digital case files
- Maintain monthly motor vehicle files, attendance reports, leave records, trip records and logs, and correct discrepancies
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, cables, and emails
- Maintain database records by ensuring information is up to date and accurate; perform routine audits
- Support investigations and projects by researching and consolidating information from various data sources/systems
- Develop spreadsheets, tracks databases, reports, and presentations, ensuring information is accurate
- Perform a range of general administrative activities, facilities/space management, customer support, resource distribution, acquisition support, and human resources support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years of experience as an analyst in related discipline
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to details
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years of experience as an analyst in related discipline; experience in law enforcement discipline preferred
