Laundry Washman

About This Role

Operate industrial washing machines, sort, fold, and store laundry items to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests at Margaritaville Lake Resort.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
• Wash according to Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort standards
• Sort dried articles according to identification number or type
• Fold and place items in appropriate storage bins
• Sort and count articles to verify quantities on laundry lists
• Pre-treat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures
• Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours
• Learn and retain a working knowledge of all MSDS/chemicals

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate
• Ability to follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures

Nice to Have

• Good computer skills
