Laundry Attendant

About This Role

The Laundry Attendant processes soiled linen and terry, maintains laundry equipment, and ensures a clean and orderly laundry area, contributing to efficient service and meaningful guest experiences at Hyatt Place Fort Worth.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to guests and exceed expectations
• Maintain and operate all laundry equipment in accordance with procedures
• Separate and wash terry separate from linen, using gloves when sorting
• Ensure all linen and terry is free of stains and tears prior to washing
• Pre-spot stained linen and terry before rewashing
• Load and unload washers and dryers without overloading
• Fold linen in accordance with established procedures
• Fold and stack clean towels, removing stained or torn items
• Complete daily production sheets
• Clean dryer lint screens every load

Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 lbs. regularly
• Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear regularly
• Completion of Chemical Training and Blood Borne Pathogen Training
