Laundry Aide

About This Role

The Laundry Aide provides essential laundry services to ensure a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents and staff at Regency at St. Clair Shores. This role contributes to enhancing the quality of life for residents through diligently maintained linens.

Responsibilities

• Cleans linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedule
• Secures housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bio-hazardous materials, in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Posts signs to indicate safety hazards posed by housekeeping activities
• Uses personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to hazardous body fluids
• Performs duties in Housekeeping when cross-trained

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Nice to Have

• One year experience as a Housekeeper
