Laundry Aide

About This Role

This Laundry Aide role provides essential laundry services to ensure a safe, sanitary, and comfortable living environment for residents in a rehabilitation center, enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Clean linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedules
• Secure housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times
• Dispose of trash, waste, and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Post signs indicating safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental risks
• Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids
• Perform cross-trained duties in Housekeeping

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Nice to Have

• One year experience as a Housekeeper
