This Laundry Aide role provides essential laundry services to ensure a safe, sanitary, and comfortable living environment for residents in a rehabilitation center, enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Clean linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedules
- Secure housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times
- Dispose of trash, waste, and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Post signs indicating safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental risks
- Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids
- Perform cross-trained duties in Housekeeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Nice to Have
- One year experience as a Housekeeper
