Landscape Technician

About This Role

This role involves planning and executing landscaping operations and maintaining grounds for various properties, including private, governmental, or business residences. The technician will perform duties such as planting, trimming, mowing, and diagnosing turf and shrub conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute landscaping operations
• Maintain grounds and landscape of private, governmental or business residences
• Properly plant, trim, mow, weed, and mulch
• Diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions
• Maintain open communication with management and clients regarding landscape needs
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment

Requirements

• Love of the outdoors
• Valid driver's license
• Previous landscaping and/or hardscaping experience
• Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping and/or hardscaping experience is required.

Nice to Have

• Relevant CDL, pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
