About This Role

As a Kitchen Leader, you will ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle's food by overseeing preparation, inventory, and kitchen cleanliness. This role involves training crew members and promoting teamwork to create a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures
  • Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolving food quality issues
  • Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
  • Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great customer service
  • Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair
  • Ensure the kitchen and all Crew members meet necessary safety guidelines
  • Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
