Kitchen Leader

About This Role

As a Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for preparing delicious food, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables, ensuring food quality and safety while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will also train and develop other crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables
• Order food supplies and manage inventory levels
• Train and develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked
• Monitor food waste and resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers for great service
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor kitchen equipment for proper function and arrange repairs
• Ensure kitchen and Crew members meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
