About This Role

As a Kitchen Leader, you will oversee food preparation, ensuring delicious and high-quality food, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and mentoring crew members to become future leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables
  • Order food supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Train and develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
  • Ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle's food daily
  • Monitor food waste and resolve food quality issues
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, well-stocked, and equipment is properly maintained
  • Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service
  • Ensure kitchen and Crew members meet necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
  • Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and perform Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
