Kitchen Leader

About This Role

Lead kitchen operations by ensuring food quality, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is crucial for consistently delivering delicious food and a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables
• Order food supplies and monitor inventory levels
• Train and develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders
• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order following procedures
• Resolve food quality issues and monitor food waste
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized
• Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and arrange repairs for malfunctioning equipment
• Ensure kitchen and Crew members meet guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and manage Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
