About This Role

As a Kitchen Leader, you will ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle's food, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables
  • Order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders
  • Ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food every day
  • See to it that the kitchen is clean, organized and well stocked
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good condition
  • Serve as a role model for Crew members, helping them learn to become future Kitchen Leaders
  • Promote teamwork and create a great customer experience
  • Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
  • Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
  • Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
