IT Systems Architect

About This Role

Lead multiple teams to convert business requirements into functional applications, using an enterprise-level vision to mentor and empower development teams. Assist in technical deliverables and project planning for innovative government solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams (developers, subject matter experts, stakeholders) to convert business requirements, process workflows, and use cases into functional applications
• Mentor and empower application development teams
• Assist in the development and review of technical deliverables
• Establish standards, develop repeatable processes, and design reusable components
• Assist in project planning, including development of timelines, composition of technical teams, and leveling of resources
• Act as the liaison between Lead Business Architect and ITO PEGA teams, translating between technical and non-technical team members
• Work closely with Business Product Owners and Stakeholders, and Lead Business Analysts to translate business requirements to application
• Participate in Agile software development sprints and sprint planning activities
• Define solution acceptance criteria and assist in software testing
• Publish software release notes and maintain product documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience with PEGA Smart BPM
• 4+ years of experience with Case Development
• 4+ years of experience as a PEGA Business Architect
• 4+ years of experience in managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC
• 4+ years of experience with Agile Software Development
• 4+ years of experience in documentation of requirements, test cases, and training material
• 4+ years of experience in leading test execution
• 4+ years of experience in configuration and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in an organization that develops and delivers software to customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience with PEGA Smart BPM, Case Development, as a PEGA Business Architect, managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC, Agile Software Development, documentation of requirements, test cases, and training material, leading test execution, and configuration and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level.
