IT Subject Matter Expert

About This Role

This role will provide expert knowledge in application and systems software, analyzing complex hardware, software, and telecommunication systems to define procedures, and assist in designing and delivering documentation and training for key stakeholders within government IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Assess and redefine procedures and standards based on industry knowledge and best practices
• Enhance understanding of agency systems across key stakeholders and system users
• Coordinate program goals, requirements, performance analysis, and innovation projects with IT and Business experts
• Provide recommendations for improvements in IT systems and other business ventures
• Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for process and technology needs
• Define how information systems may be upgraded or replaced
• Support the operation and maintenance of complex IT systems

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a clearance
• Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration, and data mapping
• 5+ years’ experience in OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
• 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in OBIEE, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports; 7+ years of experience with PL/SQL

• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Experience with Data Analytics tools (i.e.: ADVANA)
• Experience with a UNIX OS
• Experience with Java
• Experience with SFTO
• Experience with APEX
