Manage IT operations and provide technical support for computers and related technologies, ensuring smooth functioning of systems for a non-profit organization focused on early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the IT Coordinator
- Provide support for advanced issues to end users over phone, email, or ticketing system
- Handle escalated tickets from the IT Coordinator and IT Specialists
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis of computer hardware, software, networking, and network devices
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and software
- Verify issue resolution with end-users and update ticketing system, or escalate issues
- Assist with server support and maintenance
- Assist with the management, creation, permissions, and monitoring of user accounts in local and cloud systems
- Communicate with partners and vendors to ensure compliance and issue resolution
- Assist with inventory tracking, hardware management, and distribution
- Troubleshoot and maintain printers, faxes, copiers, and other office technology equipment
- Assist with opening and/or relocation of satellite offices/centers
- Conduct hardware, software, and security awareness training
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related area
- 5 years related experience
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and office applications
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Attention to details and follow through
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related area
- Five years related experience
