About This Role

As a Vice President within the Director Advisory Services (DAS) team, you will cultivate and sustain relationships with board members of GIB’s VIP client companies. You will drive communications, provide tailored support, and ensure ongoing engagement with the JPM platform of services for board-related needs. This role involves institutionalizing board engagement, enhancing strategic dialogue, and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor on enterprise-level priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Board Directors across designated priority clients
• Partner with coverage bankers and product teams to develop board engagement strategies
• Coordinate executive-level interactions between client boards and the firm’s senior leadership
• Prepare leadership for board-facing meetings with tailored insights and governance intelligence
• Track board composition changes, committee priorities, and governance developments
• Stay abreast of trends in board composition, governance, and director recruitment
• Identify early indicators of strategic activity and mobilize internal teams accordingly
• Support planning for board dinners, strategy sessions, and governance roundtables

Requirements

• Proven experience in executive search, board advisory, or a related field
• Strong network within the executive and board community, especially in NAMR
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Understanding of board governance, director recruitment, and the dynamics of public and private company boards
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
