About This Role

The Inventory Control Specialist I coordinates customer asset management programs, including service requests and work orders. This role involves reviewing data accuracy, performing audits, managing device check-ins/outs, and maintaining asset management systems to ensure efficient inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer asset management programs
  • Initiate and complete service requests and work orders
  • Review field information for accuracy before inputting data into the database
  • Perform audits, both digital and physical, of customer-owned inventory
  • Be responsible for device check-in/out and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Track and manage assets
  • Manage data input into the asset management system, including inventory and condition of infrastructure assets
  • Collect additional and missed data related to inventory and asset condition
  • Utilize computer applications to maintain records and analyze data
  • Reclaim old devices upon removal from sites and either restock or pass them on for disposal
  • Operate equipment to properly handle materials being received, issued, stocked, and picked

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with database software
  • Solid Excel knowledge
  • Solid Outlook knowledge
  • Ability to run basic queries
  • Ability to manage ticket queue and meet SLAs
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to take appropriate actions to mitigate downtime and troubleshoot internal customer issues

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 Years of Experience
