About This Role

The Intraop Neurophy Tech 2 operates specialized intraoperative neuromonitoring equipment, records various neurophysiology studies during surgery, and is skilled in waveform recognition and documentation. This role supports surgical cases involving the central and peripheral nervous system.

Responsibilities

• Operate highly specialized intraoperative neuromonitoring equipment
• Record high quality SSEP, MEP, NCV and EMG studies during surgical cases
• Perform studies involving the central and peripheral nervous system
• Recognize waveforms, instrumentation, and artifact
• Mitigate artifact during studies
• Report and document all IOM studies appropriately
• Assist in training and/or assist the supervisor in operational responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• 1 year independent Neurophysiologic monitoring experience
• Basic Life Support certification
• ABRET Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring certification

• Bachelors of Science
• 1 year independent Neurophysiologic monitoring experience
