About This Role

Install add-on devices to existing customer security systems, including burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems for residential properties. Provide exceptional customer service and assist with service tickets if experienced in security alarms.

Responsibilities

• Install and program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems for residential customers
• Install window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors
• Troubleshoot signal issues and ensure proper alarm functionality
• Perform daily on-site customer interactions and provide exceptional service
• Test and verify equipment signals
• Train customers on system use and connectivity
• Complete all required paperwork and cost reporting for each job
• Maintain accurate truck inventory of products
• Achieve 90% installation goal with zero "go-backs"

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with alarms, security systems, CCTV, IP cameras, low-voltage wiring, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cable installation, crimping, wire wrapping, and construction basics
• Ability to work with tools and perform installations in residential environments
