About This Role

This InSite Technician role at Clean Harbors involves performing tasks related to hazardous waste management, including clean-up, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials in the field. The position contributes to environmental services by ensuring safe and compliant waste handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
• Perform waste pickups throughout customer facilities
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation
• Package and label waste to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance
• Assist with on-site spill response as required
• Operate forklifts safely
• Inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of relevant labor experience
