This Information Services Intern role assists with coordinating and directing IT projects, converting concepts into technical solutions, and engaging with stakeholders and vendors. The intern will support system installations, user training, and maintenance schedules while ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct assigned projects to meet goals and deadlines
- Translate concepts into technical solutions that solve problems
- Meet with users and stakeholders to gather information on modification requests and problem solutions
- Identify opportunities and present ideas to management
- Consult with vendors, evaluate products, and select equipment for purchase
- Support installation or upgrade of systems
- Develop and provide user training for hardware and software use
- Review user manuals and user documentation
- Plan and implement periodic maintenance schedules for various systems and network devices
- Complete IT documentation as assigned by Project Leader
Requirements
- Entering Jr. or Sr. year of college; or recent graduate
- 2.5 or above GPA
- Ability to work in-person and on-site in central Arkansas
