Maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. Support the mission to be a world-class maintenance management organization using the latest technology, processes, and procedures. This role involves maintaining manufacturing and warehouse campus locations, focusing on fire systems and general building and mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic office remodel tasks
- Apply knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods
- Repair and replace basic plumbing fixtures
- Read site drawings and symbols to repair and replace doors, walls, various types of flooring, and other building materials
- Repair and install power transmission equipment
- Repair and replace various mechanical apparatus containing bearings, belts, drives, sheaves, and sprockets
- Perform skill-level appropriate preventive maintenance (PM) on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read hydraulic schematics to repair and identify hydraulic system components
- Make flow control and pressure adjustments to hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Apply knowledge of wet fire systems
- Troubleshoot and repair basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment
- Adhere to safe practices when working with electrical equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction trades
- Working knowledge and understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC)
- Working knowledge of the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters
- Working knowledge of Ohm's law
- Working knowledge of different types of sprockets, bearings, v-belts, drive belts, and sheaves
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic / pneumatic systems, or construction trades
